Welcome from the Head Teacher
A very warm welcome to St Aidan’s Catholic Primary School.
On behalf of the staff and governors, I am delighted to welcome you and your family to St Aidan’s Catholic Primary School. We are a happy, thriving, one-form entry school, dedicated to providing an exceptional education rooted in a strong Catholic ethos.
Our motto, ‘Living and Growing in Christ,’ sits at the heart of everything we do. It guides our children's journey, ensuring that together, we can truly flourish. We take great pride in our pupils; by the time they complete Key Stage 2, they leave us as confident, responsible citizens, inspired by their faith and ready to contribute to the world.
We believe that education is a partnership. We nurture close relationships with our families, who are valued members of our vibrant community. Our committed staff provide a broad, exciting curriculum designed to spark a lifelong love of learning and create memories that last a lifetime.
By fostering resilience and a positive mindset, we empower our students to believe that any goal is achievable.
At St. Aidan’s we are readers, writers, mathematicians, theologians, scientists, musicians, computer scientists, artists, linguists, historians and geographers. Children leave us in year 6 with a thirst for learning and an understanding they are destined to be what they want to be.
Our core values—Kindness, Resilience, Respect, Self-Belief, Diversity, and Honesty—are the building blocks of life at St Aidan’s. As a small school, we offer a unique environment where every child, from Reception to Year 6, knows and supports one another.
We are proud that Ofsted continues to recognise us as a 'Good' school, and we are particularly delighted to have been graded 'Outstanding' by the Diocese in 2022.
We hope you enjoy exploring our website. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you would like to learn more about our special community.
